Auto-Cinematic Video Mix Tape

The original, first ever Peripheral Produce release- originally released in 1998 on VHS tape, featured a compilation of twelve experimental films and videos.  The new remastered Peripheral Produce Auto-Cinematic Video Mix Tape includes all of those plus other great titles from previously out of print Peripheral Produce tapes, including Truth in Advertising by Negativland, Atlanta by Miranda July, Battles on the Astral Plane by Jon Raymond, Slow Gin Soul Stallion by Animal Charm, Warning by Vanessa Renwick, Love Child by Bryan Konefsky, plus work from the Olympia Film Ranch, Russ Forster, Eric Ostrowski, Scott Arford, Matt McCormick, and Julian Lawrence.

Peripheral Produce

Peripheral Produce is a video label that started distributing experimental film and video compilations in 1996. Born out of a screening series of the same name, Peripheral Produce currently represents 26 artists and has released 14 titles. 3 are multi-artist compilations and the remaining feature the work of one artist or collective. Artists whose work can be found on Peripheral Produce releases include Bill Brown, Miranda July, Deborah Stratman, Brian Frye, Matt McCormick, Animal Charm, Vanessa Renwick, Bryan Boyce, Naomi Uman, Sam Green, Jim Trainor, Negativland, and many others.
