The programme for the 10th edition of [url=http://www.filmlinc.com/nyff/program/avantgarde/avantgarde.html ]Views from the Avant-garde[/url], part of the New York Film Festival's 44th edition has been nearly finished. The event, that will be held days 7, 8 and 15 of October will present new films by [b]Bruce Conner[/b], [b]Nathaniel Dorsky[/b] (whose [i]Song and solitude[/i] is said to have been the best of the Wavelengths programme at the TIFF), [b]Guy Maddin[/b], [b]Godard & Mieville[/b] and others. There are full programmes dedicated to [b]Kenneth Anger, Ernie Gehr, Saul Levine and Paolo Gioli[/b].[br /]
