Exploding Cinema is an open access  collective who regularly screens underground film in squats, pubs, clubs, cafes and halls across the UK and around the world. Fighting against industry elitism, we’ve shown more than five thousand low or no budget films/videos, and staged shows in disused factories, office blocks, circus tents, boats, churches and in the deep end of a squatted Lido. We are radically anti-curatorial – at Exploding Cinema anyone can screen their film, anyone can join the collective.
